December 14th: Checking out.....

14th Dec Sunny

It's the last day of our camp. Some were happy to leave FINALLY, some were sad that the camp had ended so quickly and some were simply too stoned to feel either happy or sad.

Joel was the first to wake up.. perhaps worried that we would be overcharged for checking out late. Furthermore we had a late night, initially playing Risk then somehow or rather we ended up chatting in the living room, eating the potatoes personally steam-cooked by Xiao Wang! =D It was great catching up with the rest and knowing more about the Juniors. :)

Anyway back to the 14th..haha ya Joel woke up and called Grace to wake up the girls room. We did a last minute packing and were out of the rooms! Zoom! Grace hand over the keys to the guy who looked so much like a chinese when in fact he was a malay... haha. he checked the room and fortunately DID NOT notice a missing lighter! (No we didn't take it...it just wasn't there when we checked in and SOMEBODY did not report it! ain't saying names!!) So we checked out and waited for Mr ZhiYong LaoShi... The weird thing was: Mu Shi arrived a little earlier than LaoShi but in the end EVERYONE except Xiao Wang and Anna followed Mu Shi to the Mrt Station..haha LAoshi came all the way just to send Anna coz Dear Xiao Wang was riding his bike...HAH :o

For those who followed MuShi our camp haven't end yet...he brought us to a supposedly "味道不同" Prawn Noodle to have our brunch. haha it was not bad lah. considering we had instant noodles for dinner the previous night. :) :)

So after that we finally parted our ways when MuShi sent us to the Mrt..and promised to see each other again soon on the coming Sunday at Church Service.

It was a successful and meaningful camp for all of us. (Those who agree: Shout: CANA! haha siao arhh =P)

Day 3: Wild Wild Wet

13th Dec Drizzy
All are expecting to go Wild Wild Wet and have fun. As usual We have to do the devotions in the morning. As Jacky was coming from his home we waited for him. He was suppose to be the Leader for the day's devotion.

Grace:" Hello, Jacky coould you help me to bring 2 rolls of toilet paper? There isn't enough here."
Jacky:" Okay, anything else besides toilet roll?
Grace:" Nope. Thanks hor.... Byebye."
Jacky arrived at the chalet. But he bought a whole roll of toilet paper.... OMG!!!
Zihui: " Hey, you buy SUMO brand also. This brand is good. My house also buy SUMO" lolz....
Jacky:" Ya, Cheap and soft." lolz

We began sing some prasies as usual. The topic for Devotion is, "HOPE". Lead by Jacky and MingZuo, we began to talk about how Jesus Christ had gave us Hope in Life ao that we may carry on our life He wants us to be. Everybody had share their experiences and thoughts about Hopes In Lord Jesus. As usual, we spilt into 2 groups for the Daily Bread QT.

The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness. —1 Timothy 6:10
We all discuss, shared and end with a prayer.

It was noon, we were all hungry for lunch. We walk to the bus-stop, board the bus and reach Elias Mall Mac for lunch. And transfer bus to Downtown East. We all enjoyed the slides, rides and fun out there. Lazying and slacking in the pool.

1. Shoik River - We all snatch for float sleep, lay, swim or even climb on it. Drifing in the 1m deep, 335m long river.

2. Slide-up - We Q for the "Slide-up". Initially, we don't know the name of the ride. We called it the Samsung Ride. While Q-ing, we heard terrified and horrible scream from other people. These screams make many fear about it.
However, after the ride it feels so shoik and fun.
We all laught at Praise's scream. Because she scream loudly, very high pitch in a single beathe thruout the ride. FANTASTIC! Want to try ask Praise to scream at you. Dare you!

3. Ular-Lah - 6 people in the raft floating in the slides. Remember the safety attendant will scoup a pail of water and splash to you.......

These are the 3 main rides that are most fun. We went to the Yakult playground when the bell rung. It splashed a huge bucket of water on our head. The splash was so great that Jacky's glasses drop in the pool.
Zihui:" Eh, Jacky's specs dropped inside the pool. Lets help him find quick!"
Jacky:" I found it! Thanks!"
We all left and place at 1630HRS with fun and went back to chalet and rest.......

Day 2: Changi Chapel and BBQ

12 Dec 06 Cloudy

It was the 2nd day of the camp. All had woke up and do their , "Quiet time " and devotions. We had bread, milo and curry chicken for breakfast.
Zihui and Anna were the leaders for the devotion. Their topic was ,"How has God help you?" So everyone was sharing their experiences of how God had help them. After that, we were divided to 2 groups to do the QT sharing. And then we end with a prayer to thanks God.

We are waiting for the next program, " Visit To Changi Chapel". All were waiting for Zhiyong laoSHI mini-bus to fetch us there. We had our lunch at a coffee shop (Pasir Ris block 400+). We tried the minced pork noodles. We finished the food, leaving an empty bowl back to the stall-owner. Hungry or the food is good?

We reached the Chapel soon after lunch. However, the museum Mr Singh told us to make appointment in future if we are having a group visit. So that we do not over-crowed the place. We saw many pictures of the WW2. During the Japan Occupation, many Singaporeans, war patriots and POWs had suffered. The murals that was drawn on the changi chapel.

" In honouring the spirit and commitment of those who rose from the depths of adversity, the Museum inspires future generations to come and deepen their appreciation of the heroic and inspirational stories that unfolded in Changi during the war. The Changi Museum is dedicated to all those who lived and died in Singapore, in particular the Changi area, during the dark years of World War II.
Through documentation of significant events of the Japanese Occupation, the Museum also serves as an important educational institution and resource centre. As for the Prisoners-of-War (POWs) and their families, it is a site that allows for closure of the many emotional scars inflicted by the war years."

And the Chalet officer changed the pit for us. We had problem starting the fire, due to the drizzing rain. However, Pastor Kwan came to the rescue. The BBQ pit fire was ready. We all enjoyed alot BBQ the chicken wing, Cheeze hotdogs, and Joel Innovative way of masmallows..... The youth group bought a mango cake for Zihui and Jacky to celebrate. The cake was filled with many candles. WOW!!!! Singing out the Birthday Song LOUD!!!!
